The cooperation of Armenian “Rolan Bykov” Foundation and UNICEF-Armenia continued in the framework of the 8th festival as well.

The program “I am One of You” was implemented in the framework of the project “I Have Rights”, once more to highlight the rights of children with disabilities, children who live in isolation and in most of the cases are deprived of the opportunity to get education. Whereas these children can reveal their potential and abilities, can make their investment in our society, if we provide them with appropriate conditions of education, involve them in cultural, educational and social programs, try to stimulate their development.

CINESPIDER Film Forums is the initiative of two Armenian producers – Armine Anda and Hasmik Hovhannisyan, aimed to develop co-production of films. The first of the film forums – CINESPIDER: Kids Pilot 2012 was held in the framework of the 8th International Film Festival for Children and Young People.

Isfahan annual International Film Festival of Children and Young Adults, held from 8th to 12th of October, 2012, in the cities Tehran and Isfahan, in Iran, for the 26th time hosted participants from 40 countries of the world. Among the participant countries were India, Germany, Italy, Algeria, Greece, Armenia, Iraq, France and many others.

From 14th to 24th of July, 2012, Europe's largest International Film Festival for Children and Youth – Giffoni – in Italy hosted already for the 42nd time numerous children and teenagers from more than 45 countries worldwide. For more than 9 years, in the framework of the cooperation between Armenian “Rolan Bykov” Foundation and Giffoni Film Festival, Armenian teenagers also participate in the festival.
