V4+Armenia and Georgia Intercultural Dialogue: Building New Approaches

One of the priorities of the Gombolyag Foundation (Hungary) is the promotion of art and culture among children and youth and the aim of the BUSHO Film Festival is development of cultural identity by motivating young filmmakers to common activities.

The Kid's Eye Art Association (Hungary) is committed to help as many children - whether living in families or in homes - as possible to express their feelings and thoughts through the medium of film. Apart from teaching kids film making skills, it organises film making groups, summer camps, as well as festivals where interested visitors can view films by children from Hungary and other countries.

JUNIORFEST (the Czech Republic) throughout its activity has been actively promoting European (Czech) film production among children/youth that is not always available in the domestic commercial film distribution.

Through the contemporary artists Art Fabrika develops an art perception in our students through themselves and through their natural talent. Our courses of drawing, painting and graphic offer an artistic self-fulfilment for all students, beginners or advanced, of all ages. Art Fabrika leads them from the basis through various techniques to a full understanding to the magic of art.

Activities of the HumanDoc Foundation (Poland) and the Festivalare aimed at building and raising the social awareness about integration, developing contact/cooperation between communities to support imparting knowledge, values, developing skills through organizing cultural/education events (festivals, meetings, workshops, etc.).

International Young Audience Film Festival Ale Kino! (Poland) throughout its activity has been actively educating children/youth, presenting global and local (Polish) film selection, collecting rich experience and acting as a family.

The Faculty of Painting and Sculpture of the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław (Poland) educates students in painting, drawing and sculpture. It ensures the comprehensive preparation of a young prospective artist for future creative and professional activity.

Association of Slovak Film Clubs (ASFK) (Slovakia) is the organizer of the 2 biggest traveling Festivals in Slovakia-International Film, TV and Video Tour FEBIOFEST and PROJEKT 100, which support promotion of Slovak films among wider audiences.

Super film is an independent production company based in Bratislava and founded in 2015 by Simona Hrušovská and Veronika Kocourková. Super film is mainly focused on animated and educational film projects for children and young adults.

Archimera aims to develop and support the architectural scene and approach architecture to public by organizing expositions and events, to crate and enhance networks by entering interdisciplinary projects and by support mobility and exchanges.

Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgia State University develops and researches the field of arts, brings up high-qualified specialists and professionals. Mission of the University is to be the international center of sharing experience, creative relations and dialogue of cultures.




Project Description


The aim of the project is to develop and continue "Visegrad-Armenia" Special Project involving more RA regions and expanding the scope of its activities adding art (special exhibitions of artworks made by children, workshops, etc.) and social (meetings in orphanages, with children with special needs, etc.) components to it.

The main focus of the project is enlarging the reach and involving more RA regions, as well as Georgia to broaden the scope of intercultural relations between Visegrad-Armenia-Georgia and provide Armenian children and youth with a possibility for recognizing Visegrad through art and culture.

Dates of the Project: 05-09 of November 2019


in Yerevan:

· “Visegrad Film days” (film screenings and discussions with cinematographers from V4),

· Creative meetings in specialised universities/institutions, schools, etc.,

· Workshop,

· Press conference,

· Meetings with mass media.

in RA regions:

· “Visegrad Film days” (film screenings in 7 regions and discussions),

·“Visegrad through the eyes of Armenian children” Exhibition/Contest in Vanadzor (Lori region),

· Creative meetings in specialized universities/institutions; schools, orphanages, etc.,

· Meetings with regional mass media.

in Georgia:

· “Visegrad Film days” (film screenings).

The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad    Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
