Composer, songwriter, Honored Worker of Culture of RA. Head of Yerevan Art School named after Christopher Kushnaryan. Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of “Ognem” Charitable Foundation aimed at supporting the treatment of children with leukemia/suffering from blood diseases. Author of vocal cycles, a suite, choral works, variations for piano, more than 100 musical pieces and songs. Winner of prizes “Best Song” and “Best Album” of “Armenian Music Awards” (2001), “Best Song Dedicated to Yerevan” (2001), “Krunk” (2005), “Golden Lyre” (2005) and others. In 2001–2010 released five CDs with his compositions.

In 1983 graduated from Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. Worked as Deputy Director of Music School after Al. Spendiaryan (1984–1999), Head of Art and Culture Development Department of the Ministry of Culture of RA (1999–2001), Art Director of “School Philharmonia” branch of Armenian State Philharmonic (2007–2008), Head of the Staff of “Cultural  Education Assistance Fund” (since 2010 up-to-date).
