Film director, screenwriter, producer. Holder of “Mesrop Mashtots” medal. Has worked at “Armenfilm” and “Hayk” film studios. Director of the feature films “Games” (1990), “Land of Sacred Ceremonies” (2001), “Mariam” (2005) and the documentary film “From Ararat to Zion” which in 2010 was awarded “The Best European Documentary” prize at Swansea Bay Film Festival in the UK. His films have been screened at various film festivals in Moscow, Montreal, Magdeburg, Toulouse, San Francisco, Buenos Aires, Tokyo and others.
