Has worked at Kiev Estrada Theatre, Odessa Philharmonic, “Grotesk” and “Sharj” theatres. Acted in more than 100 films and TV series.

Doctor of Arts, Professor. Since 1985 Professor of Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema. Since 2008 Head of the Department of Art History and Theory. Founder and presenter of TV program “...In Seven Answers” in Armenian Public TV (1996–2002). Author of the monographs “Theatre in Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia in 12-13 Centuries”, “History of Circus Art in Armenia. From Ancient Times to Present”, “Theoretical Questions on Art of Acting”.
